Sadie Grace Jones entered the world at 9:12 AM on Thursday, May 7th 2009. She weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long. Sadie, we are so excited you add you to our family. We love you!

Well Georgia lost to Florida by the most points ever under Richt. But we had great seats, great food, great weather and great friends. It was a fun day.

Driving to Jacksonville

We are about 100 miles from Jacksonville to hopefully see the dawgs woop up on the gators. Bryson, Bryce and I are having some good conversation. After a quick stop at Chik-fil-a, we are reenergized and ready for the game!

I saw this video on CNN and loved it. Very fun. What a great way to teach kids about our political process. Below are the lyrics from the web site of the school they attend in Atlanta. There is an opening verse about McCain that I can’t completely make out. They say something about serving in Vietnam, dropping our taxes, drilling offshore and the economy growing. Maybe you can figure out the words.

It’s never fun driving home from vacation, but we had an awesome time and made some great memories. I’ll have some video and photo galleries up soon.

Souvenier time

We always have the boys wait until the end of the trip to pick out one souvenier. This keeps them from asking to buy everything they see. They chose a dino playground and legos.

Breakfast at the Animal Kingdom Lodge

They had an assortment of breads, pastries, cereals and oatmeal. A simple breakfast, but a welcome change to the heavier meals we have been eating.

Every night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, one of the cast members from Africa tells a traditional African story. It was a lot of fun sitting around the firepit listening to it.
